There are two types of tourist: the early bird and the sleepyhead. How to blame both? The morning guest wakes up early, has a hearty breakfast and is ready to discover the territory of Lake Garda in all its facets, not even losing a precious minute of time of these summer or spring holidays. The "sleepyhead" guest, on the other hand, takes it easy, maybe he was late at night at a party and then in the morning he chooses to sleep a little more, which during the year with work and family commitments it is absolutely not possible to do.
We, at the Residence on Lake Garda Borgo Alba Chiara, advise you to see the sunrise at least once, perhaps directly from the large beach at a 2 minutes walk from our village or, more comfortably,  from the window of your apartment; another thing, take the boat from the harbour of Maderno and make an excursion on the lake, especially on Monday morning we recommend the Maderno-Torri tour for the long weekly market directly on the lakefront; if you prefer to stay in the area, we recommend on Thursday the market in Toscolano in Viale Marconi only a 5 minutes walk from the Residence or Saturday the market in Salò, very large and rich (15 minutes by car away).

After a light lunch for those who want to keep fit, or a rich lunch for those who love to discover the typical food and wine products of Lake Garda, the afternoon arrives. What do we recommend? Definitely a nice cool dip in the pool (for the little ones there is a tub with safe depth suitable for children), sunbathing in the solarium area surrounded by greenery here at our residence on Lake Garda and then perhaps a swim in the lake or a walk on the beach (which we also remind you to be accessible to your 4-legged friends, so you can also come to Borgo Alba Chiara with your dog).
For excursions we recommend: the Paper Museum in Toscolano, the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera, the "Grotte di Catullo" in Sirmione, the Rocca di Manerba with its museum ... the list could be infinite, there are so many the places you should see, that we are spoiled for choice.

During the summer, we don't know about boredom. Every evening, here or in the nearby villages, a party, a fair or a musical evening is organized, all very interesting events that will entertain you and make your holiday on Lake Garda special. A few examples? On Tuesday evening in Toscolano there is "Onde Rock" scheduled with musicians stationed in the most beautiful areas of our village; in Salò, Thursday is marked "Happy Blue Hour" with aperitifs by the lake and music of all kinds; we also like to add "the white night" on Wednesday in Desenzano, the many fireworks displays throughout the whole summer, the fairs and food and wine events with exceptional typical products.
